Sunesta awnings are custom retractable awnings built for decks and patios, and Aladdin Inc is the area’s original Sunesta dealer. If you are looking for Sunesta awnings in Connecticut, we can measure your space, help you choose the fabric and frame, and handle the installation from start to finish.
Why Sunesta Awnings
Sunesta is a pioneer in the retractable awning industry. Each awning is made to order for the home it will go on, so you get a size and fabric that fit your deck or patio rather than a stock product. Sunesta awnings come with an exclusive lifetime Sunesta warranty, and as a long-time dealer we install them the way the manufacturer intends.

Sunesta Retractable Awnings
The retractable awning is the core of the Sunesta line. Custom frames are available in widths up to 40 feet with projections up to 23 feet, which covers anything from a small back porch to a wide patio. You can choose manual hand crank operation or a motor with remote control. A motorized retractable awning can also be fitted with a sun and wind sensor that retracts the awning automatically when the wind picks up.
Retractable Screens and Patio Canopies
Sunesta also makes retractable screens, sold as the SunRoll, that drop down from a housing to block low afternoon sun, add privacy or keep insects off a porch. When you do not need them, they roll back up out of sight. For homeowners who want a covered area with support posts, Sunesta’s SunPlus patio canopy system offers another option. We can explain which product fits your space when we visit.
Choosing a Fabric
With over 100 weatherproof fabric options, the choice can feel big. We bring samples to your home so you can see them against your siding and trim in real light. Lighter colors reflect more heat, solids give a clean modern look, and stripes suit a classic New England house. Our gallery shows Sunesta awnings we have installed in many colors and patterns.
